Donating

Donating is another way in which people can help all without leaving the comfort of there own homes. as a charity pukka ponies relies solely on donations to run and keep the welfare of the animals the main priority. there are two ways of donating the first is donating items that the charity is in need of such as hay, feed or bedding etc. all worth different amounts and its up to the person which item they wish to buy for pukka ponies. the second way is a financial donation where you can choose the amount that is suitable for you no matter how big or small it would all make a difference and the fact that you've made a contribution is all that matters.

Volunteering

Volunteering is one of the many ways people can get involved and help the charity whether you like horses or just want to make a difference. for those who like horses and want to work hands on with the animals themselves can do so with visiting one of the sites and performing general horse care duties like grooming, feeding, poo picking etc. those who don't want to work hands on can do so through admin work, fundraising or promoting the charity itself.

volunteering can be beneficial for both party's with the charity benefiting from the help and you if you have some spare time on your hands and want to make a difference for a good cause or looking for more experience in the equestrian world. volunteering can be very fulfilling and rewarding role.

Adoption

Adoption is the biggest commitment we can ask of those in supportive of pukka ponies as its a very big step for the horse and the new owner taking on the responsibility and the agreement of looking after a pukka pony giving them a change for good and lease of new life. if you are able to rehome a pukka pony with all the basic living requirements for an equine including any extra costs including adoption fee, vet, farrier or insurance. please get in touch so we can see which animal will be best suited to you and find out lots of information about one another. before the adoption is finalised a home visit will be required including references to make sure its the best home for your new friend. below is a list of current pukka ponies available for adoption.
